Graston Deep Tissue

This is a form of manual therapy that uses stainless steel instruments to scrape along tissues to help influence scar tissue and adhesions in muscles, tendons, and ligaments. It’s used for treating a variety of conditions from sports injuries to chronic pain.

Interferential Therapy

Interferential therapy is a non-invasive physical therapy that uses low-frequency electrical currents to stimulate nerve activity and provide pain relief. It is widely used by physiotherapists and aims to reduce swelling, relieve pain, and stimulate muscles. Similar to TENS units.

Dry Needling

This involves inserting sterile, single use, very fine needles into targeted muscles, tissues, ligaments and joints. The goal with dry needling is to help the body release natural opioids for pain relief, bring more blood flow to help increase the healing process, alter the inflammation in that area, and relax the muscle tissue. Electric stimulation can be used with most treatment sessions as well to greater amplify these responses.

Ultra Sound

The therapeutic use of ultrasonic waves which, when applied locally to joints, are said to be useful for vague arthritic complaints, including stiffness, arthritis, bursitis, tendinitis and chronic pain. The beneficial effect of ultrasound therapy is attributed to local heat, massage of the loco-regional tissues, and to an anti-inflammatory effect

Spinal Decompression

Traction units are devices used primarily for spinal decompression and pain relief. They work by gently stretching the spine, which helps relieve pressure on spinal discs and improve blood flow. Cervical and Lumbar units available at our office. We also have the roller table for intersegmental traction for full spine.

Cold Light Laser

During this procedure, different wavelengths and outputs of low-level light are applied directly to a targeted area. The body tissue then absorbs the light. The red and near-infrared light cause a reaction, and the damaged cells respond with a physiological reaction that promotes regeneration and healing.
